TAMHO Partnership with Essential Learning Provides Effective, Affordable, and Accessible Professional Development
Updated Training Matrix Now Available -- Highlights Requirements for Mandated Training Compliance Within the Managed Care Standards -- Excludes the No Longer Required Magellan SSOC Training Requirements
The TAMHO and Essential Learning, the largest provider of e-learning services for the behavioral health and human service industry, partnership is providing Tennessee's behavioral health providers the ability to efficiently and effectively meet the mandated training requirements set forth under the "TDMHDD Managed Care Standards for the Delivery of Behavioral Health Services" for the TennCare Program, expanding the use of e-learning by provider organizations and developing learning communities and pertinent training content for the behavioral health providers in Tennessee.
The training matrix developed by TAMHO, in coordination with the managed care companies and the Bureau of TennCare, defines specific recommended courses from Essential Learning's extensive course library that meet the behavioral health provider requirements for mandated training compliance within the managed care standards has been updated removing the no longer required Magellan SSOC training requirements. The revised and simplified six page matrix is available by clicking the link provided in the "PDF Downloads" box on this web page. Please contact the TAMHO office if assistance is needed with downloading or analyzing the document.
You are under no obligation by accessing the training matrix as this is a "value added" benefit of TAMHO membership but you are encouraged to evaluate this very affordable and effective arrangement through Essential Learning. It not only meets the mandated training requirements but also provides a medium for housing your internal agency specific trainings and assists licensed staff to meet their licensure specific training mandates.
It's also a great way to support TAMHO through a non-dues revenue stream.
